Adding a Phone Number in Workday

Here is how to add or update your phone number in Workday whether you use the Trusted App, Mobile or Desktop browser.

Trusted App

  1. Open the Workday App.

  2. Click the profile icon in the bottom right corner.

  3. Scroll down to where it has three sections that say "Job, Compensation, and Benefits" and click "More".

  4. Scroll to "Contact" and click it.

  5. Click "Contact" again.

  6. Add your mobile phone number under "Phones".

Desktop

  1. Click your photo icon in the top right corner.

  2. Click "View profile".

  3. Click the "Contact" section in the green box on the left.

  4. Click the "Edit" button over the phrase "Home Contact Information".

  5. Scroll down to "Primary Phone".

    1. Click the "Add" button to add a cell phone number.

      OR

    2. If you have a number that needs to be updated, click the pencil icon to change it to a current cell phone number.

      OR

    3. If your cell phone number is accurate, no further action is needed.

  6. If you added or updated your cell phone number, click "Submit".

  7. And you're done!

Mobile Browser

  1. Click your photo icon in the top right corner.

  2. Click "View profile".

  3. Click the word "More" under "Pay".

  4. Click the word "Contact".

  5. Click the "Edit" button over the phrase "Home Contact Information".

  6. Scroll down to "Primary Phone".

    1. Click the "Add" button to add a cell phone number.

      OR

    2. If you have a number that needs to be updated, click the pencil icon to change it to a current cell phone number.

      OR

    3. If your cell phone number is accurate, no further action is needed.

  7. If you added or updated your cell phone number, click "Submit".

  8. And you're done!
