Per company policy, caregivers are not permitted to drive children or ride in any vehicle (including personal cars, Uber, Lyft, taxi, subway, bus, family car) with children under any circumstances, including with parental consent. This policy is in place to help ensure safety and reduce liability.
Caregivers and children should also never be in or around a caregiver’s personal vehicle (in motion or not in motion) for any reason, including entering, sitting in, or playing in the vehicle.
Caregivers may ride in a parent's vehicle with the child, provided the parent is present and driving the vehicle.
