To qualify for holiday pay (PT/FT 1.5x hourly working rate or FT paid holiday), a caregiver must work their scheduled shift prior to, on (if applicable), and after the holiday.

Example: if you are scheduled to work the Wednesday prior to Labor Day, scheduled to work on Labor Day, and the Tuesday after Labor Day, you must work all three bookings to qualify for holiday pay on Labor Day

Full-time Caregivers must submit time off requests for any holidays 4 weeks in advance of the holiday to ensure requests have enough time to be reviewed and approved or denied.

Should the caregiver need to backout of their scheduled bookings prior to, on, and/or after the holiday, the caregiver will still need to waive the absence with accrued PTO, but will not qualify for the paid holiday or holiday pay.
