Minimum Requirements for Full-Time Caregivers

Availability Requirements:

  • All full-time caregivers are expected to Input availability for 4 weeks at a time (on a rolling basis) from 6 am to 8 pm, Monday through Friday. 

  • We ask that all full time caregivers also enter in times you are unavailable due to scheduled time off or sick days.

  • Please respond promptly (within 15 minutes of contact for same day jobs). In these circumstances, the Caregiver Booking Support Team will reach out to you directly. If you have input posted availability, it is your responsibility to be on stand-by and communicate with the Caregiver Booking Support Team.

  • If you are not booked into an assignment, you are expected to monitor your calendar and be available to the Caregiver Booking Support Team in case a last-minute job comes in for the afternoon.

  • Be available to travel to jobs up to 25 miles one way. Keep in mind, you will be reimbursed for mileage incurred after 40 miles round trip (input the screenshot in Workday for reimbursement).

Job Completion:

  • Confirm each job in a timely manner (Within 30 minutes for same-day jobs, by 7:00 pm the night before for next-day jobs, and within 24 hours for jobs at a future date)

Cancellations:

  • If a same-day or next-day job is canceled, or if you were not previously booked, you must call our team by 7 am to fill that day with another job. This step must be completed, along with inputting your availability (if previous job was canceled) in order to be granted guaranteed hours.

  • Be available for a call back if cancelling last minute on a job, due to illness or emergency.

Safety & Certifications:

  • All full-time caregivers are expected to maintain up-to-date First Aid and CPR certifications. (We will reimburse the training expense.)

  • Bring a First Aid kit and notecards/paper to each job.

  • Contact the Caregiver Booking Support Team immediately if there are any health and safety related issues on the job.

  • If there is an emergency, contact the Caregiver Booking Support Team as soon as possible after calling the parents and/or 911 (The child’s safety is always your primary concern).
