Need to back out?

If you experience an unexpected illness or situation that requires you to cancel an existing booking, you must notify our Caregiver Booking Support Team immediately. Do not message the parent; this allows our Caregiver Booking Support Team to find a potential provider substitution for the parent.

We have a parent cancellation policy that ensures that you are paid the minimum four (4) hour booking when a parent unexpectedly cancels last minute and you are not rebooked with a new family. This caregiver policy offers our families a similar level of reliability and accountability. We consider bookings a firm commitment where the parent specifically chose you and are relying on you to arrive ready to deliver amazing childcare.

Running late?

Similarly, when you think you may be running late, text/call the parent to let them know and contact the Caregiver Booking Support Team immediately via the app or by calling 617-739-5437 x2 with your estimated time of arrival (ETA) so we may also contact the family to ensure that they are aware. It is better to let the parent know you may be a few minutes late versus arriving late with no prior notice. It's important to note that everyone should strive to arrive on time to every booking.
