What happens when a parent cancels a booking?

Family Cancellation Process

Whenever you receive a cancellation, always double-check your re-posted availability and full list of default coverage zones to ensure it remains accurate. If you need to delete the reopened availability, please remove it immediately.

When a parent cancellation occurs within 24 hours of your booking start time, and you do not get rebooked by another family at any time on that day, you will be compensated for the minimum 4-hour booking. Keep in mind that you will receive your parent cancellation earnings for a 4-hour booking only if you keep your availability and full default coverage zones posted to get rebooked with a new family and do not get booked. To ensure your list of full default coverage zones is listed, you'll want to click into the availability to double check.

*Please note, the cancellation policy applies to part-time caregivers only.
