How do I enter in my hours worked?

The booking automatically starts at the time that it is scheduled. If the start time changes, per the parent’s request or if you arrived late, please alert the Caregiver Booking Support Team as soon as possible. To end the booking, just tap “End booking” and ensure that you have adjusted to the correct end time before submitting. Note that once the booking begins you will be paid for the full scheduled time even if the parent is able to let you to leave earlier. Having the right start and end times ensures the parent is charged correctly and that you’re paid correctly.

How do I enter in my availability or unavailability?

  • Step One: Log into the Trusted app or website (via the application or providers.usetrusted.com.

  • Step Two: Add, adjust, or delete your availability directly in the "My Schedule" tab of the Trusted app.

  • Step Three: Once you're in here, click on the date you'd like to set availability for.

  • Step Four: Save your work.

How do I change my availability or unavailability?

Immediately make the desired change in "My Schedule”. Do not wait -- this prevents a parent from booking you for a time that you are no longer available. If a parent has booked you, the expectation is that you fulfill the commitment and provide amazing care. If you are unable to provide quality care, contact the Caregiver Booking Support Team immediately (and not the parent).

I'm worried about being auto-booked

I'm worried about being auto-booked and not having control over where I work.

You are in charge of entering in your 1 day of availability every week. This means that you control when you work. Based on your location, you will be expected to travel up to 15 miles for part-time and 25 miles for full-time from your home, but please note that you will only be matched into these jobs WHEN you mark yourself as available, and your profile details match the specific job details.

Auto-Booking Criteria:

Caregivers can be auto-booked for same-day or next-day jobs at the last minute if:

  • Their availability is posted and is a perfect match for the booking.

  • The booking start time is at 10 am or later.

  • They are booked at least 2 hours before the booking start time.

Can families still list me as their Preferred Caregiver?

Yes! If you have availability listed for the date of the request you will be auto-booked

If you do not have availability, the booking support team will reach out to you directly. Our policy is, if you do not respond in a timely manner we will reach out to others to fill the job.
